Today in top 5 Tuesday, like the past three weeks, Shanah @bionicbookworm wants us to give you our top 5 authors with their names beginning with the letters P to T. That can be a first name or last name.
I tweaked the challenge and decided to choose teams and pitch them against each other!
Each team has romance or woman’s fiction authors as well as YA author. They all share the same first letter in their first name (or name if I can’t find one). From two to three, max four authors. I have read them all! I will also try to imagine the kind of story these authors could write!
By the end of the post, you comment with your winning team!
Let the battle begins!
P : pairing Pepper Winters with Jessica Park
That should give a hot, twisted story with very deep and complex characters. Probably a past trauma to overcome as well.
Q: Not many authors with a Q but I found Kate Quinn and teamed her with Quinn Loftis.
Kate Quinn writes amazing historical fiction while Quinn Loftis write fantasy YA with shifters, fae princes … so an historical fantasy with a quest for revenge and bands of women outsmarting the men.
R : Pairing the powerhouse Kennedy Ryan with Robinne Lee and the amazing Ruta Sepetys!
That should be a very interesting combo with Kennedy’s flawed heroes, Robinne’s impossible love story and Ruta Sepetys brilliant writing with a knack for historical fiction.
S: Two authors who literally sent me to the biggest hangovers of my life as they shredded my heart and soul to pieces here: Suanne Laqueur and Tabitha Suzuma.
Seriously, I think if we ever saw the pairing of these “out of this world” authors I would need one month in therapy to recover my sanity and soul! I predict an intense, heart wrenching, dark, brilliant and unforgettable contemporary!
T: pairing Tillie Cole with Tahereh Mafi and Tijan.
A dystopian bikers story? With Uber Alpha Males, protective of their woman and said woman suffering from a past trauma and discovering her inner badass self! Butt kicking on the horizon 😊
So let me know: who would you choose?
Thanks for reading.
