Friday Face-Off : Frame 07/24/2020

Hi friends,

Friday Face-Off is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy! This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers.   Each Friday, we will pit cover against cover and choose our favorite. If you want to join the fun, choose a book each Friday that fits that week’s predetermined theme. Compare two or more different covers available for that book, and pick your favorite. A list of future weeks’ themes are available at Lynn’s Book Blog. Easy right?

This week’s theme: Frame !

For once I knew which book I would use and it’s from a recently discovered but phenomenal author: Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid!

2015 Washington Square Press

2016 Leda Edge

2017 Diana Verlag

2018 Record

2020 Titania

There are even more editions but these are my favorites and I was feeling lazy today 😀

And my favorite is…

What is your favorite today?

Thanks for reading!

  1. Sooo fascinating! I like the 2017 Diana Verlag a lot myself! 😀

  2. The German one really popped out to me!

  3. The German one popped to me and the one after it (Portuguese?) drew me in too, though, the cover you selected read “joy” to me. I can say that all are great covers in general.

    1. Joy is really a fitting word for that cover indeed!

My favorite is the original 2015 cover with the frames. It’s the one I own and it just fits the book to me.

    1. This was my second choice Tanya!

  5. I love these posts! It’s so interesting looking at all the different covers. I like the 3rd cover personally v

  6. I’m with you on that one with the balloons.
I *kinda* like the frames, but it gives it a kind of museum/”too serious” kind of vibe to it?

    1. Museum! Yes!!!

  7. Great choice! I really like the first one. I think it’s the palm trees.

    1. Ha you need some holiday maybe? Lol

      1. Definitely. Or just move where there are palm trees I can see every day. 🙂

  8. Mm, I like the second and the third one. The others are a bit too plain for me.

  9. I’m torn between the first two, I really like both!

    1. Me too Tammy!

Let's talk!
