Today is Sunday, time to look back in the rearview mirror and talk about my week in and out of the blog. As usual I am linking up to the Sunday Post hosted for years by Kimberly @caffeinatedreviewer .
But first of all, for all the moms … Happy Mother’s day!
In my private life
Well my previous week had been really eventful with my daughter’s health’s problems so this week being blissfully normal was a gift!
Nothing really important to report, just our quarantine routine.
We’ll begin opening more shops tomorrow and are allowed some social interaction outside our home with maximum the four same people.
I confess that I am dreading the easing of the measures put in place and fear that famous “second wave”. But I understand that we have to let the economy get back to normal very slowly or we’ll have other big problems!
My employer does not talk of invinting us to get back to the office and I am glad as I fear the public transportation and the closeness with other people.
That being said, this week I sur got my reading mojo back! I only reviewed two books but that’s just because I want to read and read and read. Not to write reviews! Blasphemy for a blogger I know but …I just want to be a bookworm, you know?
I have read this week The Switch by Beth O’Leary; The Night Huntress book one by Jeaniene Frost (audiobook); the first book of the Steel and Stone series by Annette Marie (buddy read with Raven and Jen) and What I Carry by Jennifer Longo (after I’ve seen Sam’s review). FOUR books in one week!!!!
The reviews you’ll see below are from books that I have read the week before.
So I had four reviews to write! That’s why I am posting so late today!
That plus I confess that I spend some time on Instagram right now as it seems that beautiful pictures of books lift my mood!
Last info for this week: work is still intense! I managed to book my lunch time and avoid Skype meetings but outisde of that moment, I had not one minute of respite. Hard to follow you all on social media …
On the blog this week
I reviewed two books! One is a woman fiction/romcom by Katherine Center: What You Wish for and was truly excellent! 4,5 stars
The second was an audiobook, romcom too and a pure delight: Well Met by Jen De Luca! 4,5 stars
Honestly I recommend both in these time of quarantine!
The sole other post was the Top 5 Tuesday which was …longer than five books as Shanah asked for our favorite romance! I gave one book by romance trope. See if you can find your guilty pleasure 😀
